Jesus (in the Gospels) on Money:

Mt.6:24Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mt.6:19, 20 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal

Luke 12:15 Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Luke 18:25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, (a small gate in the Jerusalem wall), than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Matthew 21:12-13 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Mark 6:7, 8 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse
